It's no secret that I love donuts! And since today is National Donut Day, I figured I'd make some Donut Coloring Pages (or is it Doughnut Coloring Pages?). Whether you spell it donut or doughnut, you're going to love these free printable donut coloring pages.
If you've never celebrated National Donut Day before, it's always the first Friday in June. I consider it the perfect excuse to enjoy my favorite sweet treat!
I love printable coloring pages. Coloring is a fun activity that kids of all ages can do together. For older kids and teens, coloring is a great way to de-stress and take time to relax.
Coloring is a great way to work on color recognition and fine motor skills with younger kids…and it's so much fun that they'll never realize they're also doing something educational.
These cute donut coloring pages include pictures of different types of donuts. I also added some fun sayings and some cute little frames.
There are 9 different pictures to color in this coloring pack. There are no more than 2 of the same donut pictures to color.
For example, I used the same donut image in both of the following coloring pages.
And while the pictures are the same, the looks are totally different.
I think there are so many cute donut sayings that I had a hard time narrowing it down to just a few.
You can print the whole file off at once or just choose a page or 2. If you plan on printing lots of coloring pages at home, you may want to consider a laser jet printer. It’s so much cheaper to print with one.
While I love coloring with crayons, my preferred method of coloring is with colored pencils. It’s so much easier to color in those smaller areas…especially words.
You can use any colored pencils, but my favorites by far are these colored pencils. They’re more expensive, but they color amazingly and they last a lot longer than regular colored pencils.
