How to make Baked Apple Roll Ups
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and spray glass shallow dish with butter-flavored cooking spray.
Lay out tortillas on a flat surface like a cutting board or baking sheet.
Place a couple tablespoons of the apple pie filling in the center of the tortilla. Repeat with remaining tortillas making sure you have enough filling in each tortilla.

Roll filled tortillas like a taquito and secure them with a toothpick.

Place taquitos on your prepared baking sheet or in a glass baking dish.
Bake for 12-15 minutes.
While your roll-ups are baking, mix the sugar and cinnamon together.

Remove the apple rollups from the oven.
Sprinkle your cinnamon sugar mixture onto the top of the taquitos.

If you want to make these next level, add some melted butter to the top of the cinnamon mixture and place taquitos under the broiler for a minute til you get a sweet sugary crust!
FAQ {Frequently Asked Questions}
Yes, of course. While we think our homemade apple pie filling is the best, you can use canned apple pie filling if that's what you have on hand.
While these apple pie taquitos are delicious by themselves, they're absolutely out-of-this-world when served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. You can also add some sweetened whipped cream.
If you don't have baking spray or prefer not to use it, you can use parchment paper or a silicone baking sheet.
While you can use either one, I prefer flour tortillas. Just make sure you use small flour tortillas if you go that route!
Consider adding a tbsp of brown sugar to your cinnamon sugar mixture for a deeper flavor. You can also add small chunks of cream cheese to the inside of your taquitos for a creamer flavor.
Microwave tortillas for 3-5 seconds to make them more pliable.
Sure! Just keep an eye on them as they won't take quite as long to cook!
You can store leftover apple roll-ups in an airtight container in the fridge for 4-5 days, but we usually don't have any leftovers!
