How to make Rudolph Pudding Cups
Set out your ingredients, turn the Christmas tree lights on and put on your favorite Christmas music…and you're ready to rock and roll!

After you've taken the plastic lid off your pudding cup, you'll want to place two pretzels on the top corners of your pudding cup. These pretzels will serve as your reindeer's antlers.

Next you'll want to add your reindeer's eyes to the pudding cup. Place them slightly below the pretzels. You can use candy eyes with eyelashes or without.

Last, but definitely not least, you'll place a red jellybean nose on Rudolph (or Rudolpha if you went with the candy eyes with eyelashes.)
Seriously…aren't these the cutest?!?
Frequently asked questions
Can I use homemade pudding?
Absolutely! If you don't want to use store-bought pudding or if your kids ate all your pudding cups, you can easily make your own. Just grab a box of pudding mix and go to town!
Can I decorate the outside of the reindeer cups?
Yep. You sure can, but don't feel like you have to.
What other styles of reindeer cups can I make?
You have quite a few options when it comes to Rudolph cups. If you don't like pudding, you could opt to make a reindeer applesauce cup instead.
Or if you wanted to do reindeer pudding cups for your kids class, but they require sealed snacks, you could look for pudding cups with clear plastic tops. And then rather than using pretzels, candy eyes, and a red candy nose, you could opt to create reindeer with pipe cleaners for antlers, googly eyes, and a red pom pom for the nose. If you decorate the outside of the pudding cups rather than decorating the top of the pudding, you can send them home as party favors.
You could also make reindeer candy cane pudding cups where you use candy cane antlers instead of pretzel antlers.
Can I use sugar-free pudding?
Yep, you sure can. Some people actually prefer sugar-free chocolate pudding because it is lower in calories and fat. You can also use other flavors like vanilla or even butterscotch instead of chocolate, but I think chocolate looks the best since reindeer are brown.
When should I serve reindeer pudding cups?
These reindeer dessert cups can be served at any time of day. I've been known to serve them as a special breakfast, a snack for a special lunch, a fun after-school snack or as a party treat.
Can reindeer pudding cups be frozen?
Technically, you can freeze pudding (remember those awesome pudding pops from the 80s?), but it will change the texture, so I wouldn't recommend freezing these pudding cups.
Can reindeer pudding cups be served at parties?
Yes, these pudding cups are perfect for holiday gatherings or other festive events!
