If you are looking for a super special treat or gift, you totally need to make these White Chocolate Chocolate Chip Hot Cocoa Bombs! Filled with hot cocoa, chocolate chips, and marshmallows, this hot chocolate bombs recipe makes the most dreamy cup of hot chocolate!

Hot Cocoa Bombs Ingredients

- 2 cups White Candy Melts
- 2 cups Hot Chocolate Mix
- 2 cups Mini Marshmallows
- 1 cup Mini Chocolate Chips
You will also need molds to make these in. I've tried a variety of bath bomb molds and cake pop molds. If you use bath bombs molds, you'll want to hold them steady in a cupcake tin. I used these molds for this batch. This will result in some pretty big hot chocolate bombs. I've made smaller ones too, but you can fit more marshmallows and hot chocolate chips in the bigger ones.
Hot Cocoa Bombs Instructions
Place white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl and melt in the microwave per the directions on the package.

Place 1 tbsp melted chocolate into one half of a bomb mold and, using the bottom of your tablespoon measuring spoon, press the chocolate up the sides of the mold, keeping it thick but even.

Repeat with 12 hot cocoa bomb mold halves.
Place the chocolate filled bomb molds into the freezer for 5 minutes.

Remove molds from the freezer and gently tap the sides of the mold, pressing on one side of the chocolate to make the chocolate slide out of the mold.

Fill 6 of the molds with 1 tbsp hot chocolate mix, 1 tbsp mini chocolate chips, and 6-8 mini marshmallows.

Heat more of your chocolate melts and pipe them onto the edge of your filled hot chocolate bomb half.

Then add one of your empty halves to the top and press down firmly. Once your two halves are connected, I pipe more around the spot where they're joined and then I use a spoon or knife to smooth the seam.

Drizzle some of the remaining chocolate over the hot cocoa bomb to cover the seam.

Before your drizzled chocolate has had a chance to set, sprinkle with mini chocolate chips.

Place the hot cocoa bombs into the freezer for 5 minutes to get them to fully set, then remove and store in an airtight container until you’re ready to use.

How To Use Hot Chocolate Bombs
To use the hot cocoa bombs, place them in a mug and pour 2 cups hot milk over the top. Stir until the hot cocoa bombs are completely melted and enjoy!
