So the other day I was contemplating a computer class, but even as I was thinking it and typing about it, I wondered if it might be a bad idea. I'm seriously busy and the thought of adding one more thing to my schedule made me cringe. Plus, I know that some things that will be covered in a computer class are things I already know which would mean that I might be wasting valuable time sitting in a class hearing about something I already know.
So I've decided I will use my list and I will make myself a “Computer Skills Book”. Each week, I'll tackle one of the things on my list and see what info I can find. I'm sure that there are good tutorials and info on line on some of these items, so I'll try to print off the items that I find handy and add them to my book to reference when I'm feeling lost. I may even make an online document with lists of websites that I find for each topic that I'm researching.
So my first order of business will be to make some web forms. I'm going to research whether I'm better off using a form template, a form builder, or trying to write the code for a form (I'm pretty sure that will not be the option I go with, but didn't I sound smart for a second).
If any of you know of great FREE online resources for learning computer skills, I'd love to know. Please leave a comment or shoot me an email!
