I absolutely love Christmas. I love the lights, the carols, and the spirit of giving that is so often seen during this time of year. I've cried over multiple Facebook posts that share a holiday surprise where a school or a church or a family provide Christmas for a family going through a hard time. I love hearing stories of people who have been surprised with gifts or meals when they weren't sure exactly what Christmas would look like that year. So when Macy's and Savings.com asked me to surprise a shopper and pay for $100 of their Christmas gifts, I jumped at the chance.
I purchased a $100 Macy's gift card while I was out shopping with my family last weekend and then headed into Macy's today to surprise an unsuspecting person. I wandered throughout the store and checked out the many amazing gifts. I found a few things to add to my own Christmas wishlist like this super soft throw.
Since I'm a mom of 4, I spent some time in the children's department looking around to see who was purchasing gifts for kids. I found a sweet woman who was buying clothes for her granddaughter and then followed her to the cashier. When I told her that Savings.com and Macy's wanted to pay $100 toward her Christmas, she cried…and so did I. And then the cashier snapped this picture of my very own holiday surprise. And while I'm sure I made her day, I bet she has no idea that this made MY day! 
It was such an awesome moment!!! I felt like Santa! 🎅 It really is more fun to give than to receive!
