Looking for a fun Halloween breakfast idea? Your family will love this Orange and Black Toast Recipe.
I’m all about creating fun memories with my kids. And while you may think you need to take your kids to Disney or plan elaborate parties, some of the things kids will remember most fondly are the fun meals you’ve created and the simple things you’ve done together at home.
I remember celebrating St. Patrick’s day as a kid with Green Fettucine Alfredo (It was just regular fettuccine noodles and a jar of Alfredo sauce with green food coloring added in) and green milkshakes (which were just vanilla ice cream with green food coloring added). That was over 30 years ago, but I still think about it every St. Patrick’s Day.
Since we love breakfast at our house, I’m all about breakfast recipes. This Halloween breakfast recipe is easy to make and takes less than 5 minutes. It’s faster than most of the meals we normally do for breakfast at our house.
My kids can’t function without protein in the morning, so we do eggs every single morning at our house. This orange and black toast makes a great addition to our morning eggs.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Separate the cream cheese into two bowls.
Add orange food coloring to the one bowl of cream cheese and mix well.
Add black food coloring to the other bowl of cream cheese and mix well.
Spread cream cheese over toast in a way that makes your heart happy.
Sprinkle liberally with Halloween sprinkles.
