Our family has many long-held family traditions, however, since it's 2020, we've had to make some changes to some of those traditions. So instead of heading to the movie theater as part of our Thanksgiving celebration, we opted for a family movie night with Christmas popcorn!

This year is the 20th anniversary of the live-action version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas so we opted to watch that as our family movie.

My nieces have never seen this version and they absolutely loved it. {They were also completely entertained by my husband.}

I also made some special Christmas popcorn to make our movie time even more enjoyable! I let my nieces help me make this special white chocolate popcorn recipe.

How To Make Christmas Popcorn
Christmas Popcorn is so easy to make and it takes your movie-watching experience to a whole new level. My brother said it reminded him of expensive fancy popcorn that you'd get at a popcorn boutique.
Christmas Popcorn Ingredients

This easy holiday popcorn recipe just needs 3 ingredients…popcorn, almond bark (or white chocolate chips), and Christmas sprinkles!
You can either use microwave popcorn or you can pop your own popcorn with this easy recipe.
To begin, pop a bag of Jolly Time Blast O Butter popcorn in the microwave then dump the popcorn into a large bowl.

Next melt almond bark (or white chocolate) and drizzle over popcorn.

Mix well. {Warning: if you have 4-year-olds help you with this step, you may end up with popcorn all over the kitchen}
To complete your Christmas popcorn, you'll just need to add some fun holiday sprinkles. Once your holiday popcorn is mixed, you can transfer it to a pretty holiday bowl.

I hope you'll enjoy making some new memories with your family and that you'll have a wonderful holiday season!
