Easy Halloween Craft: Spooky Spider Night Light
I started by opening up my glowsticks. I had some glowstick necklaces from the Dollar Store in my craft stash, so I used them instead of regular glowsticks. Unless you are a professional glowstick necklace wrangler, I recommend using the regular short glowsticks. I've used them in the past and they are much easier to get in the jar. 🙂
Once your glowsticks are activated (bend them back and forth or shake them depending on what kind you have), fill jar halfway with cotton and add glowsticks to the middle. You'll then want to place your spiders between the outside of the jar and the cotton. Once your spiders are in place, fill the rest of the jar with cotton, put the lid on it, and take it to a dark room! Voila! Your very own creepy nightlight.
These are also great for lining your walkway on the night you have Trick-or-Treaters. Keep in mind, they will only glow for as long as the glowsticks last. If you want to use them over and over again, simply replace the glowsticks. Easy-peasy!
