If you're looking for encouraging Bible verses for teen girls, you've come to the right place! We all know it's not easy being a teen! It wasn't easy being a teen girl when I was young (a bajillion years ago) and it's even harder now.
As a mom of 4 girls (three who are in their 20s and one still in her teens), I have seen firsthand how hard it is to be a teen these days. Keeping Scripture at the forefront of your mind will help you deal with the pressure and anxiety you may feel as a teen.
One of my absolute favorite resources for keeping scripture in the forefront of my mind and for keeping anxious thoughts at bay is the Dwell app. They have a variety of scripture “playlists” by topic. You can also create your own playlists. I have a sleeping playlist that includes the “A Peaceful Night” and “Peaceful Psalms”.
I know you're facing a ton of pressure to do this or that, dress in a certain way, look a certain way. Maybe you feel like you need to lose weight or gain weight. Maybe you're dealing with crippling anxiety… Whatever you're feeling, God's Word is here to guide you, encourage you and motivate you too!

Bible Verses for Teen Girls
Here are some of my favorite verses to keep in mind when you need some encouragement from the Lord.
Deuteronomy 31:6
Deuteronomy 31:6 – “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
It’s so easy to avoid a situation because you’re fearful of it, or the way it might turn out. This verse is here to remind us that the Lord is with us every step of the way and that He is always there to guide and watch over us.
Psalm 31:24
Psalm 31:24 – “Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”
This one seems kind of self-explanatory. If you’re a believer, take life in strides! Be optimistic, and be strong. With the Lord by your side, there’s nothing that you can’t face.
Psalm 34:4
Psalm 34:4 – “I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.”
Another verse about fear, and how you don’t need to worry! Your prayers will be answered, and your anxieties will be calmed if you take the hand of the Lord. When you find yourself stuck in fear, the best thing you can do is reach out to Him.
Psalm 119:105
Psalm 119:105 – “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
It’s normal to feel a little lost now and again, but keep in mind that your path is lit by the word of God. When you’re faced with obstacles or temptations and you feel like you have nowhere to turn, the Bible is waiting to be opened. Walk on a faith-paved path and be fearless.
Proverbs 31:20
Proverbs 31:20 – “She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.”
There is always somewhere you can help. You are a child of God, and you have so much love and light to give to others. Don’t let that light go to waste. It’s been said that the greatest gift you can receive is the word of God, and it is also the greatest gift you can give. Reach out to those less fortunate than you, in any way you can, and let God shine through you.

Isaiah 41:13
Isaiah 41:13 – “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”
Hand in hand, the Lord will lead you in the right direction. Keep your faith and heart guarded against the cruelties of this world, and turn to the Lord for your needs. With Him, all things are possible and you are never, ever alone.
Jeremiah 29:11
Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
When you feel hopeless, this verse is probably one of the best to turn to. No matter how terrible things seem, there is always a light at the end of that tunnel. God has a plan for every one of his children; you’re not an exception.
He loves you, and He’s given you a purpose in this world. Though it may seem unclear at times, a prosperous future and nothing but the best awaits believers in Christ.
Song of Solomon 4:7
Song of Solomon 4:7 – “You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.”
God makes no mistakes. Be wonderfully and undeniably you because you were molded by the hands of the Lord Himself. You are beautiful, unique, flawless. Just the way He wanted you to be. You are perfect in the eyes of the Lord; a masterpiece sculpted by the best artist of all time. There’s no doubt in your creation, and you best believe it.
Matthew 11:28-30
Matthew 11:28-30 – “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
No burden given to you will ever be too much for you to handle, especially not with God on your side. When times are tough, talk through them with the Lord. Prayer and reading scripture are the best ways to connect with God. Read your Bible and pass your troubles to the Lord, He will take care of you and show you the way.
John 14:27
John 14:27 – “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
If you can’t tell, a repeating theme here is fear and anxiety. However, the main point is that the Lord is always there to help vanquish your fears and calm your anxieties. God sent Jesus to earth and without His death and Resurrection, hope and peace wouldn't be possible. Then God gifted us with the holy Spirit. We don't have to be troubled or afraid.
1 Corinthians 10:13
1 Corinthians 10:13 – “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”
Throughout life, there are so many temptations. A well-known example of this is Adam, Eve, and the apple. Satan will tempt you to walk away from your faith, but God will always provide a way to stay on track.
It’s up to you to turn your head away from sinful obstacles in life every time you’re faced with them. Mistakes are bound to happen, and faith is bound to fluctuate. Each temptation is a test of faith, but the Lord is forgiving.
1 Timothy 4:12
1 Timothy 4:12 – “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and purity.”
I love this verse. In a world where age is so often a factor, it's beautiful to be reminded that your age doesn't define you. You can be an example of what it looks like to walk by faith.
Galatians 6:9

Galatians 6:9 – “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
It can be easy to become weary and discouraged when we're doing the right things, but not seeing results, but this verse reminds us that we will reap a harvest if we don't give up!
Hang in there! Keep doing the right thing! God is going to bless your efforts!
1 Thessalonians 5:11

1 Thessalonians 5:11 – “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
In a world where so many people are critical, be a voice that stands out. Encourage and build up the people around you.
Take time to point out what they're doing well and tell them that you see their hard work! It will make the person you're encouraging feel better and it will make you feel better about life too!
Matthew 6:34

Matthew 6:34 – “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
We all know that it can be tough enough to get through today, let alone tomorrow. That's why this scripture is such a great reminder. Focus on today! Live in the moment. Let tomorrow worry about itself!
2 Timothy 2:22

2 Timothy 2:22 – “Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.”
You might not understand the desires that are filling your mind as a teen. They may seem foreign and unfamiliar, but memorizing this verse will help you redirect those thoughts when they creep back in so Christ becomes more than just another thing on top of all these other things vying for space inside us-He becomes our everything!
Ephesians 5:1-2

Ephesians 5:1-2 – “Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”
This verse is a great reminder of how to act in your daily life. We can be loving and selfless as we remember Christ's sacrifice on our behalf.
1 John 3:18

1 John 3:18 – “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
Talk is cheap. We've all seen that time and time again.
Be a person who stands out because your actions back up your words! Show the people around you that you love them with your actions!
Nahum 1:7

Nahum 1:7 – “The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.”
It's easy to feel like we're all alone and no one cares about us, but this verse reminds us that the Lord is good. He is our refuge in times of trouble.
And even though we feel like no one cares about us, we know that God cares for us!
Philippians 4:13

Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
You can do hard things. While you may not be able to do them with your own strength, you can do all things with Christ who strengthens you!
Exodus 20:12

Exodus 20:12 – “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.”
I already know what you're thinking…”How is this an encouraging verse for a teen girl?” The truth is, God blesses us when we choose to be obedient to him and honor our parents.
Philippians 4:13 reminded us that we can do hard things…and honoring your parents may be one of those hard things, but blessings abound when we are obedient to God and honor our parents.
Proverbs 29:25

Proverbs 29:25 – “Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in The Lord is kept safe.”
It's hard to not worry about what people think of us. We've all been on the receiving end of an unkind word or glance from someone who was obviously judging us.
When we start to care more about what people think about us then what God thinks about us, that's when we get into trouble. Focus on pleasing the One who loves you and created you to do amazing things!
Psalm 23:4

Psalm 23:4 – “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
Lamentations 3:22-23

Lamentations 3:22-23 – “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
God's mercies are new EVERY MORNING! If this doesn't make you want to jump out of bed with a good attitude, I don't know what will. {I'm a morning person, so I especially love this verse.}
We can rest in the fact that God loves us and has great compassion on us.
Psalm 34:10

Psalm 34:10 – “Those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.”
No one in this world is guaranteed happiness. It's not always about what you want or think you need, but how well it aligns with God’s plan for your life and where He wants to take you next – which can be anywhere!
Adversity (or “bad luck”) comes along at times so don't get discouraged. God uses the tough time to build character and to accomplish His purpose for us.
Romans 8:1-2

Romans 8:1-2 – “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.”
It's easy to feel overwhelmed by guilt and all of our sin. When we remind ourselves regularly that Christ has set us free from the sin and that we no longer need to live feeling guilty and condemned, we can live in the freedom that Christ paid the price for!
Zephaniah 3:17

Zephaniah 3:17 – “The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”
Psalm 119:9

Psalm 119:9 – “How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.“
I love that God's Word gives such clear instructions! Want to know how to stay pure? Live according to God's Word.
When you're pursuing the heart of God, it will be much easier to avoid temptation and to stay pure.
Isaiah 32:17

Isaiah 32:17 – “The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.”
Our world seems to be spiraling out of control. Everywhere you look you see fighting, violence, and poverty. It's confusing and scary for an adult…and I'm sure it's even more so for a teen.
But Jesus… {that's one of my favorite phrases} Jesus is the King of Righteousness…and His righteousness brings peace to those who believe in Him.
In a time when peace seems elusive, isn't it awesome to know that we can rest in His peace and that the effect will be quietness and confidence forever!
1 John 2:14

1 John 2:14 – “I write to you, dear children, because you know the Father. I write to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one.”
I love this verse because it addresses not only young men (and young people in general), but old people as well. It's basically a verse to encourage everyone in the church.
