Valentine's Day is this Thursday. Don't panic though… I have 3 ideas for Valentine's Day gifts that won't break the bank. You don't even have to run to a zillion stores to whip them up. Just head to your local dollar store where you can get these items for a dollar each. (I know…you're thinking “Duh…you just said the dollar store.)
These gifts are great for a girl friend (Galentine's Day is the 13th), a teacher, or you can even give your kids the instructions so they can whip up one of these gifts for you. 🙂
Ideas for Valentine's Day Gifts
Chocolate Lovers Valentine's Day Gift
First off is this fabulous gift for chocolate lovers (like me).
Here's what you'll need:
1 – Valentine's Day Themed Mug
1 – Box of Hot Chocolate K-Cups
2 – Lindor Truffle Chocolate Bars
1 – Valentine's Day Plush Monkey
INSTRUCTIONS:
Open the k-cups and remove labels from coffee mug and monkey. Place chocolate bars and k-cups in mug using tissue paper as filler. Loop the monkey arms through the mug handle and use a ribbon or twine to secure. Easy-peasy!
“Me Time” Valentine's Day Gift
This next gift is perfect for someone who could use a little “Me Time” (and couldn't we all)?
Here's what you'll need:
1 – Heart Shaped Glass Container
1 – Loofah
1 – Gel Eye Mask
1 – Rose Petal Soaps
1 – Facial Scrub Brush
If you want to splurge and spend an extra $1, you could also pick up a book at The Dollar Store. I've picked up some fabulous books there before!
INSTRUCTIONS:
Remove packaging and labels from all items and place into glass container. Place rose petals in container still inside of their plastic packaging.
Office Supplies Valentine's Day Gift
The last gift is perfect for a friend, a teacher or anyone who loves office supplies as much as I do.
Here's what you'll need:
1 – Gift Box
1 – Pack of Gel Pens
1 – Floral Sudoku Puzzle Book
1 – Small Notebook
1 – Valentine's Day Balloon
INSTRUCTIONS:
Remove labels and packaging from all items and place in gift box. Cut down stick of balloon if necessary to fit nicely in the box. Fill around with tissue paper. Add a few stickers or embellishments to the gift box if desired. Consider leaving a small love note in the notebook for your Valentine to find.
