It is hot as blazes here in Phoenix and I know it's warming up across the country. It's time to get ready for those hot days and what better way to do that than with a delicious new recipe? This pink lemonade sorbet is the PERFECT treat for any hot day (or even a chilly day)!

It's easy to make, it's so refreshing and it's a great treat for the kids. It's also a great way to get in some extra hydration without guzzling more water! Last year, I got dehydrated and passed out in a church parking lot which resulted in a torn rotator cuff, a scraped knee and a ridiculous emergency room bill…so I'm all about staying hydrated.
Pink Lemonade Sorbet Ingredients
- 1/3 cup of Pink Lemonade mix
- 2 and ¾ cups of water, divided
- 1 ½ cups of sugar
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tablespoons of lemon zest

Pink Lemonade Sorbet Directions:
Start off by juicing your lemons until you have 1 cup of fresh lemon juice. (You can use a manual lemon juicer like this or you can use something fancier like this. We recently switched to this one and absolutely love it. My husband has been making fresh orange juice all week.

Next, in a medium saucepan on medium heat, mix 1 ¾ cup of water and 1 ½ cups of sugar and bring to a boil.

Let the mixture boil for one minute or until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of water, pink lemonade mix, lemon juice and lemon zest.
Pour into a loaf pan and freeze for 6+ hours.
Then scoop it up and enjoy!
