Over the last 2 weeks, my mom has been in utter agony with a back injury. She has been unable to walk or sit up and was unable to join us at the Thanksgiving table. Since she's normally quite active, this has been extremely difficult. She had a spinal block last Friday and unfortunately, it didn't help.
This afternoon she will be having back surgery. I would love it if you would join me in praying. Please pray that the surgeons will have wisdom and that the surgery will be effective. Please pray that my mom will recover quickly with a minimal amount of pain. Please pray that all of us would pitch in and help out graciously. It will be quite a while before she's able to go back to her normal routine.
And if you don't see me for the next day or two…don't worry, I'll be back and the 12 days of Christmas will continue!
