We spent the first half of our spring break in Tennessee visiting family. Sunday night as we were relaxing in our hotel room, my oldest daughter came across a Peep Topiary and immediately showed it to me as we usually give my sister Peep themed gifts!
After looking at the store bought one my daughter showed me, we decided to make our own Peep Topiary to give to my sister for her birthday. It was so easy that we were able to make it in our hotel in under 30 minutes. We did have to make a run to Michaels for supplies, however, if we had been home, we could probably could have made this for a fraction of the price.
Here's what you'll need:
7 boxes of Peeps
Styrofoam Ball
Dowel Rod (We used a knitting needle since we couldn't find the size rod we needed)
Tooth picks
Floral foam
Piece of fabric to wrap floral foam in
Container to place Topiary in
M&M eggs or jelly beans (We used M&Ms because they're tastier) 🙂
To start off with, place one end of your dowel rod in your floral foam and the other end in your styrofoam ball. I wrapped my floral foam in a piece of scrapbook paper to make it look prettier.
Next place your floral foam into your container.

Now start adding your Peeps. We chose green to start off with and placed 3 green peeps on our toothpicks. We then did a row of yellow Peeps around our green Peeps and worked our way out from there.

Once you're completely finished, add the rest of your M&Ms or Jelly Beans and VOILA! You've got a beautiful Peeps Topiary. This will make a fun Easter Centerpiece.
Here's what it looks like from the back!
