This morning I headed to WalMart to do a little grocery shopping, but thought I’d browse the after Christmas merchandise again. Everything was marked down to 75% off!
I was thrilled with the things I was able to find. I found 2-packs of brightly colored socks for only 75 cents. I don’t normally wear bright colored socks, but since I’ve been wearing tall boots almost every day, it doesn’t matter if my socks are a little unusual. My daughters love bright colored socks, so they were thrilled that I bought some for them. (They were also thrilled because the more socks I buy for them, the less socks they have to buy with their clothing allowance.)
I also found a Stanley staple gun with staples for $5.00. My staple gun disappeared sometime in the last 2 years and I don’t remember using it since we sold our cottage in New Hampshire. It’s quite possible we left it at the cottage since we sold it fully furnished. Anyway, it’s exactly like the $20 staple guns, but it showed some Christmas lights on the front, so it was marked down 75%.
I also found this Chi Mini Flat Iron and Mini Pro Low EMF Dryer Collection Gift Set with Free Travel Bag for less than $20. CHI styling tools & products are super expensive so snagging this for under $20 was a steal! (It’s currently on sale on Amazon for $69.95.)
I’m also kicking myself for not buying some of the cute stuff for little kids. They had Mommy’s Little Deer onesies (with a reindeer on them) for only $0.75. This would make a great shower gift next year for someone expecting a little girl around Christmas. They also had lots of cute little PJ sets.
There were also ornaments galore, wreath pans, cookie mixes, gingerbread house kits, and lots and lots of candy!
