I’m naturally disorganized. I’ve shared about this in the past and although I’m getting better at it, I still struggle. One of the areas that has been a struggle this year is making sure everyone is where they need to be, when they need to be there. You’d think that with all the technology available, this would be a breeze, but since we’ve made the switch to just relying on our phones, we’ve found that we’re not all on the same page.
We used to have a large calendar that hung in the kitchen. The rule was that if it wasn’t on the calendar, it wasn’t happening. Everyone did a great job of adding their own things to the calendar and I was able to get a good idea of what was going on each week by looking in one place.
As Christmas approaches and things get even crazier around here, I’ve decided to go back to the calendar approach. I’ve been looking at a variety of calendars to figure out which one will work best for our family. My oldest daughter is managing basketball and also has a job now. My youngest daughter is playing high school basketball. We’re in the process of adopting 2 more kids. My husband works from home and travels some. I work from home part time and from an office part time. My kids both serve in children’s ministry at our church. I’m on the worship team at the church. I’m also the craft person for our MOPS group. And last but not least, my hubby does sound at the church. It’s a lot of stuff going on and at times it’s challenging to keep straight!
So I’m hoping you can help…
