When my older girls were growing up, I filled their Easter baskets with all kinds of candy! I threw in a few practical things like fuzzy socks and my favorite lip balm, but for the most part, their baskets were full of all things chocolate, sugar, and dye!
When the twins came along, we found out that they can’t have dye, gluten or high fructose corn syrup without turning into purple minions. So Easter baskets have had to change dramatically. We now do mostly non candy items with a few things like YumEarth Sour Jellybeans, YumEarth Lollipops, and some chocolate.
If you’re looking for some alternatives to Easter baskets filled with candy, this is for you!
